Hey girl, just read about your day….yikes, been there unfortunately
I just love random advice from strangers….yesterday I was at Menards with my 3 year old and he decided to run ahead of me as I was attempting to price out new vanity counter tops. I find him down the toilet aisle in full aim mode pullup at his ankles about to pee in the display toilet. Some guys says, “you need to watch him”. No shit Sherlock….hmmmmmmmm.
Congrats on the training and the biking!!! The bikes and the little cart looks like fun:)… You’ll get conditioned and will make it up that hill with no problem in a couple of weeks…. that is if it cools off now…. too hot to be biking today!
Andria: I remember those days also. And I know that today your life is feeling pretty good and the kids are putting a smile on your face, and you feel your heart just reaching for them. I don’t know if your library has a summer story hour for children, but if they do, go and attach yourself to a couple of moms with small kids and make it fun for yourself. then go next door and have gelato and let the kids smear their faces up. And if that does not work, then after they are in bed, go out on your deck and have a glass of ice tea or wine or beer or water, and listen to the summer sounds.
Could I come and be with your kids for a couple of hours so you can at least go grocery shopping?
I love your blog. Your children are really growing up. It brings back fond memories of when our boys were little and all those special moments. I never had a video camera, so ours are just snap shots as we called them. When I look at them I can still feel the feeling of that moment. They always hold your heart in their little hands don’t they.
Don’t know if you read Kari’s blog but William has had his bouts with ear infections and whole lot of other health problems. I don’t know when you gals find the time to do all this. I was lucky if I kept up with two baby books. I do enjoy reading them.
