Just checking in. Things have been so busy (but I can’t remember what we did) and I haven’t been feeling too well. This little guy is giving me a hard time! I was having some contractions for a few days but I saw my doctor and things are better now. Not exactly better but at least I’m not going into labor. Now if I could find a thin brace to keep my hips from falling apart. This has been my main problem from the start with both pregnancies. Not just a waddle with some back pain. I’m talking about not being able to even walk, taking the stairs one at a time, not being able to get out of bed, and my pelvis clicking because its so misaligned. Really painful and my current brace doesn’t fit under my clothes. Ah. Only three months left.
Miss June is giving me a run for my money, too. Her personality has gotten so big over the last month even if she hasn’t. She is currently at 19 pounds and is still wearing 9-12 month clothing at 16 months. She is starting to talk more but still uses sign language for most of her communicating. I think she picks up a new sign everyday. She dances all the time and walks on her tip-toes, just like her mama did (she already has my legs!). She now has five teeth and enjoys standing in the driveway to wave at passing cars. So far the only ones to wave back are motorcycles.
Yesterday was the first time we were able to go to our pool and Evelyn loved it. There were so many kids she didn’t know what to do with herself. She was just walking around saying ‘hi’ to everyone. She kept trying to give a toy truck to a woman lying on a towel and by the third time the woman sat up and said “Oh, hi, Andria!’ It was our friend Stacie (her husband, Damon, works with Scott) and she was there with her daughters, Grace and Ella. Evelyn loved playing with them and we hope to see them again soon. The best part about being at the pool was that she was so tired when we got home that she went to bed by seven. I hope we will be able to go at least a few times a week and that Scott will have some chances to go, too. Maybe then I can get some time to actually swim. Or at least float around.

Andria,
We were so glad to see you and Evelyn at the pool! Both of the girls, especially Ella, loved playing around with Evelyn! Anytime you need a sitter or just want a nap – let us know, we’d love to play with your little peanut
