Evelyn June has started to walk! She can take about five or six steps before she loses confidence and plunks to her butt. When she gets going she lets out a cute giggle. Learning a skill that gets you an eensy bit closer to independence requires giggling.

She is so funny to see walking around because she is so little. She had her nine-month check up a few weeks ago and she is 27 inches tall and weighs 14 pounds, 13 ounces. She eats so much, though. A typical day: Breakfast- 1 cup of cereal, 3 ounces of pureed fruit, and a slice of bread or two scrambled egg yolks; Snack 1- half a banana and a teething biscuit; Lunch- another cup of cereal, 3 ounces of pureed veggies, and an entire pear diced up; Snack 2- half cup of yogurt with a few handfuls of cheerios; Dinner- one more cup of cereal, 3 more ounces of pureed veggies or fruit, and an entire diced avocado. And she still nurses. I don’t know where it all goes.
