Here she is, Evelyn June Olson. She was born on February 28 at 3:56 in the afternoon and weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces, 19 and 1/2 inches long.
I don’t know what to say about being a mom- it’s everything and nothing like I expected. Getting to know this little one over the past month has been so trying and amazing at the same time. We are both still learning about each other but the smiles I get each morning are well worth the tears of frustration I’ve cried.
On a different note the website will probably be changing a lot as I figure out exactly what look I’m going for. I have so much I want to share with you all!
That’s my girl! Ok, maybe she’s yours, but she looks just like you did when you were born. The staying up like a little night owl, and the constant vomiting, you too. The “cute as a button” and being really really sweet, thats you too! But I’m sure she will have her own unique little personality blended with mom and dad and no matter what GRANDMA LOVES HER BUNCHES!!!!
ohhh Evelyn is too sweet for words. I’m so happy to have been able to see you and meet the babe. you look gorgeous and your aura is so peaceful, you seem right in step with being a mom. love the baby’s knitted hat in the photo. Is that something you made for her?

Hey, Andria! Congrats, she’s a beauty! I told Scotty to let me know if you guys ever want to do a play date. Eden and Chloe were born almost exactly 24 hours after Evelyn! I’m sure you have lots of friends with kids, but feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just need to talk to someone who has been through it recently. Noah is only 21 months, and it’s at least a little easier the second/third time around!
